Point Spread (Handicap)
A bet that adds or subtracts points to even out an unequal matchup.
A -6.5 favourite must win by 7+ to cover; the +6.5 underdog wins the bet by losing by 6 or fewer (or winning outright). Handicaps make lopsided games priceable near 50/50.
