Privacy Policy

Last updated: 28 May 2026

1. Who we are

DomVs ("DomVs", "we", "us") is operated by Domvsports, based in Australia. We provide a quantitative sports-betting information service. We are not a bookmaker, do not accept or settle wagers, and do not handle player funds.

This policy explains how we handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

2. Information we collect

  • Account data: email, password hash, date of birth (used solely to confirm you are 18 or over), display name, and timezone preference.
  • Subscription data: subscription tier, currency, status, and limited billing metadata. Card details are handled directly by Stripe, Inc. and never reach our servers.
  • Usage data: which tips you mark as taken, notification preferences, push notification subscription identifiers (if you opt in), and personal staking settings (bank size, Kelly fraction).
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, and standard log files for security and operational integrity.

3. How we use it

  • To create and operate your account and deliver the service you subscribed to.
  • To process payments through Stripe and to comply with anti-fraud and tax obligations.
  • To send transactional emails (subscription confirmations, payment failures, password resets) and, where you have opted in, push or email notifications about the tips you follow.
  • To improve the model and the product, in aggregate and de-identified form.
  • To comply with Australian law, including age-verification obligations.

4. Who we share it with

We share the minimum personal information required with the following processors:

  • Stripe — payment processing (subject to Stripe's privacy policy and PCI-DSS controls).
  • Supabase — database, authentication, and serverless functions.
  • Cloudflare — content delivery, edge compute, and Turnstile (bot-protection) challenges.
  • Lovable — hosting and deployment platform.

We do not sell personal information. We will only disclose data to third parties when required by law, by court order, or with your express consent.

5. International transfers

Our processors may store or process data outside Australia (typically the United States and the European Union). Where this occurs, we rely on contractual safeguards and recognised transfer mechanisms to ensure your information remains protected to a standard substantially similar to the APPs.

6. Retention

Account data is retained for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to comply with legal, accounting, and tax obligations. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time by writing to the contact address below.

7. Your rights

Under the APPs you have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you;
  • Request correction of inaccurate or out-of-date information;
  • Request deletion of your personal information;
  • Opt out of non-essential communications at any time;
  • Lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

8. Cookies and similar technologies

We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies and browser storage entries to keep you signed in, remember your preferences (such as timezone display), and protect the service against abuse. We do not use third-party advertising or behavioural tracking cookies.

9. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards including HTTPS, encrypted password hashing, row-level security on the database, and bot-protection on authentication endpoints. No online service is 100% secure; if we become aware of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you and the OAIC in accordance with the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.

10. Contact

For any privacy enquiry, including access, correction, or deletion requests, write to domvsports@gmail.com. We respond within 30 days.

If you are dissatisfied with our handling of your request, you can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
